By accessing or using The Candidate’s Edge (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use This Service

The Candidate’s Edge is built to help individual job seekers improve their resumes and interview skills using AI-powered tools. Your use of the Service must be:

  • For personal, non-commercial job search purposes only

  • In compliance with all applicable laws and these terms

You may not:

  • Share your account or login with others

  • Use the Service for coaching, recruiting, or resume-writing businesses

  • Reproduce, repackage, or resell any part of the Service or its outputs

 

2. Fair Use Policy

We offer generous usage to help you land your next job. However, to keep the service fast and reliable for everyone, we may temporarily limit or restrict accounts that show:

  • Automated or bot-like activity

  • Excessively repetitive or high-volume submissions

  • Attempts to game mock interview, resume, or test simulation systems

 

3. Free Trials (If Offered)

Free trials may include limited access to resume, test prep, or interview features. Trials are intended for evaluation only and may not include all features.

  • You may not create multiple trial accounts

  • Trial access may be revoked for misuse

 

4. Payments & Refunds

All purchases — including subscriptions, one-time services, and digital tests — are non-refundable once activated.

  • You can cancel anytime from the My Subscriptions page

  • Your access will remain active through the end of your billing cycle

  • You are responsible for managing your subscription, including upgrades and renewals

  • No refunds for unused time or unused mock interview credits

5. Content Ownership & Data Use

You retain full ownership of your uploaded resume, job descriptions, and interview responses.

By using the Service, you give us permission to process your content with trusted third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) solely to generate feedback and insights. We do not use your data to train AI models or for any other purpose.

 

6. Important Disclaimers

The Candidate’s Edge provides resume and interview guidance using AI tools. We strive to be helpful, but we cannot:

  • Guarantee job placement, interview invites, or specific outcomes

  • Provide legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice

All insights are for informational purposes only.

 

7. Changes to the Service

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time — including pricing, features, or access limits. You will be notified of any material changes to these Terms.
