How similar is this to the real CJBAT Test?

The format, timing and structure are as close as possible to the 2025 real exam format. While it's not the official test, it's designed to help you prepare with realistic scenarios so you know exactly what to expect. Similar to the real exam, you'll need to reach a score of 70 to pass, with 30 questions correct from the Memorization & Written Abilities sections.

Are the practice exams for Law Enforcement or Correctional officer candidates?

Both. The real CJBAT exam format is identical for both law enforcement and correctional officer candidates. The difference lies in the context of the questions. For example, a scenario might describe a police call instead of a correctional facility scene. Because of that, our CJBAT practice exams are designed to fully prepare candidates for either version. Our question bank includes a mix of both law enforcement and correctional scenarios so you'll be prepared for success regardless of which role you are applying for.

​​What are the CJBAT Practice Test Behavioral Attribute questions like? 

You'll be given scenarios or questions that try to determine if you possess the traits important for Florida Correctional Officers and Law Enforcement employees. When answering, try to choose responses that demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, decisiveness & empathy.

What are the CJBAT Practice Test Memorization questions like? 

You'll be given 60 seconds to memorize an image and then you'll be asked to recall information about the information. The questions may ask you to recall colors, quantities or other objects that were in the photo.

What happens if I fail the real Florida CJ Basic Abilities Test for Correctional Officers & Law Enforcement Officers?

You can only take the real CJBAT test up to 3 times per year. That's why practicing ahead of time is a great move. Our tests are designed to help you boost your score on the first try and maximize your odds of being hired fast.

Can I retake the practice test?

Yes, you can retake the test from any device as many times as you'd like. We frequently add to our question bank, and you won't get the same set of questions each time.
